How to register for in-person voting
Utah permits same-day voter registration. This means that you may register to vote AND submit a provisional ballot at a polling vote during early voting or on election day.
Early voting takes place from 8 AM to 5 PM Aug 4 - 8 and Aug 11 at the Utah County Elections Office (weekends excluded).
Election day voting runs from 7 AM to 8 PM Aug 12 at the Provo Health and Justice Building.
To register, make sure you bring ID! These can include combinations of Utah drivers license, Passport, School ID, and utilities statement. A full list can be found vote.utah.gov.
More information can be found at vote.utahcounty.gov.
Have you already registered to vote by mail?
If you've already registered to vote by mail, you should receive your ballot at your home address. Once completed, you may place your ballot:
a) In outgoing mail (contrary to the printed directions, no stamp is required)
b) In a dropbox by the Provo City Library or County Administration Building. A full list of dropoff locations may be found here.
Your ballot will include a printed pamphlet with full submission instructions.
